Summer pumpkins…

I always believed that pumpkins would ripen in winter, or at most in the fall, just in time to be used as lanterns during Halloween … but I just found out that they ripen even in this season.
Ambassador of the news, my mother, who had cultivated some plants of little decorative pumpkins to give me (she knows very well that I simply love them).
I thought she presented herself to me with her harvest not earlier than September / October.
Never mind, the multicolor group is already part of my furniture, and I hope that they will arrive safe at least to winter!
