Multifunction room: entrance hall, study, living room and bedroom
The two white bedside tables with zinc doors I posted few articles ago, were only part of a bigger commission. The need was to furnish with linear forms and neutral colors a very wide entrance, which if necessary can also be the living room or bedroom. Needed a table leaning against the shorter wall, measuring 4 meters still abundant, and a shelf above. After evaluating several proposals, due also to the fact that the ceiling and one wall are covered with plasterboard and therefore too weak to attack shelf brackets or hooks, we arrived at a solution that sees the maxi table leaning along the whole wall to hidden iron supports, and two legs in zinc. I am very proud of the legs, because they are obviously recovered and very similar to the shade of the cabinets doors and also because the rectangular section gives them a lot of character.
Both pieces, table and shelf, I have been asked to decorate with peeled white as cabinets.
The end result is seamless and easy, but with details absolutely unique and original.
