Sardine portrait
The head of bream left to Padova, so I decided to paint a new wooden table.
I love to paint fishes: the challenge is to try to make the most of the shine of the scales and the color tones. I thought sardine was the right subject for my new portrait .
I wanted the subject seemed illuminated as much as possible, so, although it already had very defined shadow, I colored the background of the wooden table with a white acrylic. Sardine instead is made with oil paints.
