And today something quite unique happened to me. A facebook friend request from a father from Russia that finding my illustration on the web writes me that the little girl who I portrayed seems the twin of her daughter Barbara and that they had fun trying to reproduce the image with photos.
Image that portrays the protagonist with a kitten in her arms, wrapped in an ocher-colored fabric band.
And the photos that are attached are simply beautiful: his daughter Barbara with a chrome yellow band who holds in her arms her white rabbit. The rabbit looking in the camera, the bottom is a set of wooden rough planks lit in a corner from the sun, and on the band a petrol blue label with “Barbara” written in beautiful calligraphy.
Yes because, from what I understand, her parents produce that beautiful straps, and to me it all seems so surreal.
While seeking a paperboard anywhere to throw down the portrait of his daughter, he asks me if he can use my image for a fee as the logo of their brand.
So in a moment the game is done: I think that on next boxes there will be my illustration.
For today I want nothing more.
This is the first illustration to which they were inspired.
She is Barbara.
And here is my interpretation of the image.
